TheCityFix Learn is WRI Ross Center for Sustainable Cities’ learning platform, sharing knowledge for better cities with city officials, practitioners and stakeholders around the world. Its free guides, webinars and online courses cover everything from air quality to climate resilience, but its previous site made resources hard to find and courses hard to deliver, just as WRI set out to become a true learning organization.
Back Pocket Media rebuilt TheCityFix Learn on WordPress to make it easier to use from registration through course completion. After a thorough discovery process, we designed a new site with a filterable resource hub that sorts every guide, webinar and course by format and topic. Free accounts let learners track their progress and earn certificates, and built-in translation opens the content to a global audience. Since launch, we’ve supported the platform on a monthly retainer, solving technical issues, trimming costs and setting up reporting the team relies on.
The result is a website that lives up to its promise of sharing knowledge for better cities, helping practitioners find the right resource quickly.
