Slipstream Website

A life sciences consulting and technology firm accelerating R&D, enterprise transformation, data, and IT for regulated organizations

Accelerating life sciences. Clarifying deep expertise. Designing a website buyers can navigate with confidence.

Slipstream is a life sciences consulting and technology firm that pairs functional domain expertise with hands-on technology and AI delivery. Its services span R&D technology and digital CRO offerings, enterprise transformation on platforms like Veeva and Salesforce, enterprise data and advanced analytics, and managed technology services for regulated organizations. As Slipstream sharpened its focus on life sciences, its website hadn’t kept pace: service pages read generically, the breadth of the portfolio was hard to follow, and there was no SEO foundation in place, so the firm’s deep expertise was difficult to find for the biotech, pharma, and healthcare buyers searching for it.

Slipstream engaged Back Pocket Media to lead the UX and UI design of a new website and to build its SEO foundation ahead of launch, with Slipstream’s internal development team handling the build. The goals were to organize a complex service portfolio into clear pathways, speak in the language life sciences buyers actually use, and give a new domain a measurable starting point in search.

We began with discovery and structure research, then developed the sitemap, navigation, and wireframes through multiple rounds before moving into full UI design. The final template set covers the home page, services landing and service-group pages, service detail and partner pages, resources, articles and events, a leadership grid and team bios, modals, and complete mobile layouts—all built on a pattern library with documented components, interface animation specifications, and an annotated handoff for Slipstream’s developers. We produced the home hero and masthead videos, assembled the photo library, refined a consistent icon set, and ran design QA on the development site. On the SEO side, we built a keyword strategy that pairs each service with the audience searching for it, wrote page structure specifications, benchmarked the existing site before the domain switch, configured Yoast and organizational schema, populated page metadata, and set up Semrush, Search Console, and local listings for the new domain.

The new site launched in March 2026 at slipstreamls.com, giving Slipstream a modern, motion-rich presence that reflects the rigor of its work and makes a complex portfolio easy to navigate. With a search benchmark captured before launch and a keyword strategy grounded in real buyer language, Slipstream has a clear baseline to measure organic growth as it continues to expand its life sciences offerings.
