Established in 2016 by Bruce and Cynthia Sherman, the Sherman Prize honors clinicians, surgeons, researchers and academics whose pioneering work is transforming care for people living with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. With a small team and a yearly cycle of nominations and announcements, the Prize needs a website that is dependable and ready to change on short notice.
Back Pocket Media hosts and maintains the Sherman Prize website, keeping it secure and current with monthly updates behind the scenes. A private staging copy lets the team prepare content ahead of time and go live on their schedule. Each nomination season, we refresh the homepage, and for the Prize’s tenth anniversary, we turned its anniversary film into a looping homepage video with the call for nominations built right in.
The result is a website the Sherman Prize team can rely on through every cycle, one that puts its call for nominations front and center when it matters most.
